Neuromodulators
Botox/Dysport/Xeomin/Letybo
At The Look Lab, we use best-in-class Neuromodulators to help our clients reduce and prevent facial wrinkles like frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines. It delivers predictable, subtle results, so you look like you. It’s a quick treatment with minimal down-time.
Neuromodulators or Neurotox treatments are used to improve the appearance of facial fine lines and wrinkles. "Tox" works on the targeted facial muscle to intentionally produce a weakness or temporary paralysis of that muscle. This results in the relaxation of the targeted muscle, which in turn lessens the appearance of wrinkles or improve the contour of the face. Cosmetic Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Letybo are Health Canada approved for the glabella, frontalis and peri-orbital regions of the face and injection into other areas is considered off-label use.
Neuromodulators start to take effect at day 4-5 and full effect is seen after the 14-day mark.
Generally treatment results are effective for approximately 3-4 months. After 3 to 4 months, the effects start to fade, and additional treatments may be done to maintain continued results.
The most commonly treated areas are forehead, frown lines between the brows (11's), and crow's feet.
Botox/Letybo/Xeomin - $10 per unit
Dysport - $9 per unit

Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers
One of the most popular facial rejuvenation treatments, our hyaluronic-acid based dermal fillers are injected under the skin to give a fuller, smoother look.
Injectable Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a type of temporary dermal filler. Hyaluronic Acid is naturally present throughout the body.
In the skin, Hyaluronic Acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. During the aging process, there is a natural loss of collagen and elastin which leads to a sagging or sunken appearance.
Injectable Hyaluronic Acid is used to help address this by providing structure and volume to the face.
The effects of injectable Hyaluronic Acid are seen immediately and can last up to 12 months, depending on the amount and product used.
Commonly treated areas, include the lips, cheeks, chin, nasolabial folds and jawline.
